Welcome to AYSO Region 359. Founded in 1982, our region is committed to providing a safe, fun, fair, and positive soccer experience for every player and family. We proudly serve over 1,100 kids each season, creating a place where children can learn the game, build confidence, develop friendships, and enjoy being part of a team.

Region 359 at a Glance

Where We Play

AYSO Region 359 plays at Liberty Park, located at the corner of Brimhall and Jewetta in Bakersfield. Our fields support multiple age groups and provide a central location for practices, games, and family involvement throughout the season.

Our Programs

Region 359 offers programs for players at different ages and skill levels during the fall season.

• Kickstart is designed for our youngest players ages 3 and 4 and focuses on fun, movement, and a positive first soccer experience.
• Core Program divisions include 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U, with age-appropriate instruction and development.
• Area Program provides play opportunities for older players in 16U and 19U divisions.

Volunteer-Powered

AYSO Region 359 is a volunteer-run organization. Our board members, coaches, referees, team parents, and field volunteers all help make the season possible. None of this happens without families and community members who are willing to step up and support the program.

How Parents Can Help

Parents and family members play an important role in the success of our region. There are many ways to get involved, including:

• Coaching or assisting a team
• Becoming a referee
• Helping with field setup and preparation
• Serving in division or region support roles
• Supporting positive sideline behavior and sportsmanship
