Region 359 Invitational Tournament Requirements

*** Regional Invitational playoffs and Area playoffs are not included in the player registration fees. The invitation is NOT guaranteed just because requirements have been completed. ***

• Coach must be certified and trained for the specific age level

  • 10U In Person Clinic OR

  • 12U In Person Clinic

• Each team must fulfill their Referee/Official game requirements

• Each team will provide 2 volunteer Referees (Must be Certified Regional Referee) to officiate each game. OR 1 Referee that will officiate 2 games per week. These volunteers need to fill out a volunteer form online, complete live scan, background check, take Safe Haven course, Safe Sport course online, Summary of the Laws of the Game, and the In-Person Referee course.

• Each team will be required to officiate two games a week.

• ** Can make-up referee points, may not bank points**

• Each team must fulfill their volunteer requirements for Picture Day Fun Day

• Each 10U Team is to provide a basket donation

• Basket assignments are posted in the coach binder

• 12U Teams are responsible for supplying 1 volunteer for a 2-hour shift. No splitting shifts, one person must do the entire shift.

• 12U Check in times are provided in the coach binder.

• Each Team is required to have a sponsor of $300 to be invited to the end of season Regional Tournament. To qualify, sponsorship must be received by the Region no later than October 31st. 

14U Invitational Requirements

• Coach must be certified and trained for the specific age level

  • 14U In Person Intermediate Clinic

• Each team must fulfill their Referee/Official game requirements

• Each team will provide 2 volunteer Referees (Must be Certified Regional Referee) to officiate each game. OR 1 Referee that will officiate 2 games per week. These volunteers need to fill out a volunteer form online, complete live scan, background check, take Safe Haven course, Safe Sport course online, Summary of the Laws of the Game, and the In-Person Referee course.

16/19U Regional and Area Requirements

16/19U have standings within the AYSO Area 10 Program

All games will count in your regular season. There is No regional playoff or Invitational for 16U/19U. These divisions will be playing in Area play which includes traveling to Kern County Soccer Park and at the end of the season there will be an Area Tournament.

• Coach must be certified and trained for the specific age level-**must be certified in 14U before you can attend the Advanced coaching course.**

  • 16/19U In Person Advanced Clinic

• Each team must fulfill their Referee/Official game requirements

• Each team will provide 2 volunteer Referees (Must be Certified Regional Referee) to officiate each game. OR 1 Referee that will officiate 2 games per week. These volunteers need to fill out a volunteer form online, complete live scan, background check, take Safe Haven course, Safe Sport course online, Summary of the Laws of the Game, and the In-Person Referee course.

• 16/19U Teams are responsible for supplying 1 volunteer for a 2-hour shift.

• Each Team is required to have a sponsor of $300 to be invited to the end of season Regional Tournament. To qualify, sponsorship must be received by the Region no later than November 11^th.
